Q&A: How much PEP?

Question: How much PEP is delivered by the Aerobika OPEP?

Answer: It’s flow dependent. More flow equals more PEP. As I tested the Aerobika at a normal flow rate, I achieved about 12cmH2O on a “1” setting, and about 20cmH2O on the “5” setting (maximum).

Question: How many times should the patient do this?

Answer: 10-20 times followed by coughing, repeat for 10-20 minutes. BID
